I got my Remington 257 Roberts last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Cohutta. For deer hunting I like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my Remington Model 799, and I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bit more robust than the Leupold. My all-time favorite hunt was in Cohutta when you took Hiroko out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 44 Magnum.
Our favorite rifle is the 257 Roberts I picked up online at the NRA store. My friends and I like the 44 Magnum best for deer hunting.
My favorite caliber is probably the 257 Roberts from Bass Pro Shops in Cohutta. There is a new edition of my new Remington Model 799 with the checkered rosewood chambered in 44 Magnum and 257 Roberts.
